Nolan Ryan On A Soap Opera - 1975

| | Comments (9)

Today's Classic TV Friday is from a show actually called "Ryan's Hope." A bunch of whiny kids are being led down some sort of corridor when Nolan Ryan appears out of an elevator in a tiny pair of red shorts. I think it's illegal to be that close to children in those pants now, but not in 1975.

Anyway, make sure to watch the whole thing as Nolan's Emmy moment doesn't come until the end. He's a regular Lawrence Olivier. Please to enjoy.

I don't know whether to be delighted by Nolan's horrifically bad acting, or horrified by his not-so-delightfully obvious bulge.

Yeah I was gonna say something about that but I figured it was best to keep it down here below the fold.

Is it too early to start drinking?

I'm gonna go pop some Aid-veal for muh pitchin' shoulder.

@Chief

I'm confident you know the answer to that question.

When I have knee pain, I just put on a pair of shorts that doesn't leave one ball hanging out when I sit down. Always helps.

Nolan Ryan purchased those shorts at P.E. Teacher Warehouse.

Nice acting with that magazine Nolan, but everyone knows you can't read.

Who directed that? Samuel Beckett?
