Go ahead. Say them aloud in your best Bob Sheppard voice and you'll see what I mean.

Robot Frempkins
I've been going to Yankees games since 1978, so I'll add Mike Pagliarulo to that list.
Least mellifluous name Bob Sheppard ever said: Pat Listach.
Carl Yastrzemski.
Did he ever have to announce Marc Rzepczynski?
I'm surprised Iracane didn't have "Derek Jeter" on his list.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia or Orestes Destrade.
And I know he's a tennis player, but I would've loved to have heard him say 'Yevgeny Kafelnikov.'
SALTALAMACCHIA
To that end, Phony, I would've LOVED to have heard him announce a hockey game or two. That would've opened up a whole new pile of fun there - Sergei Fedorov, Steve Yzerman, Jaromir Jagr, Jari Kurri, Alexander Ovechkin...
From all the Giants games I attended over the years, I'd add the following:
Brad Daluiso
Jeff Hostetler
Philippi Sparks
and of course Mark Bavaro.
Rod Barajas
Pia Zadora
Rocco Baldelli. Shocking, I know.
I'm with the colonel, I feel like "Derek... JEET-ah" might not be the most interesting name he ever said, but the obvious relish with which he said it elevates the name. It's like the difference between having your photograph taken and having John Singer Sargent paint you. Ineffable.
Again, I am a Red Sox fan.
